|

| But quality does not come cheap. Lighting its extensive facilities and offices costs the Green-Club CHF 33,640 a year. However, when it comes to making substantial savings, the LEC is the obvious immediate choice. |

| The Green-Club's objective To obtain a significant reduction in its lighting bill, without affecting the quality of the lighting, which is essential for good sporting practice and, of course, without embarking upon a costly light replacement operation. The buildings The Green-Club offers 6 indoor and outdoor tennis courts, 4 badminton courts and 3 squash courts, 1 weights room and 1 fitness room, 1 covered swimming pool, 1 sauna, an enormous car park, a restaurant and well laid-out terrace, as well as a conference room. |
LEC efficiency Connecting all the Green-Club's lighting systems to the LEC makes it possible to reduce the lighting costs by CHF 10,968 for an expenditure of CHF 20,000. Consequently, the pay-back time was less than two years. However, the Green-Club's managers opted to lease the equipment first and purchase it later, as they wanted to take advantage of the LEC's efficiency at the earliest opportunity. |
